When searching for a photographer, everyone has different budgets and needs.

A 3-step process

pre-session

Choose your time

During booking, you'll choose how long you'd like your session to be.

  • 45 minutes for $75
  • 90 minutes for $135
  • 120 minutes for $160

 

This time will include unlimited outfit changes and locations. Location-specific fees will be added to your invoice. (For Minneapolis parks, I only charge half of their usual photography fee!)

The fun part

Have your session

After paying 50% of the time-based session fee as a nonrefundable retainer, we'll get you on the schedule!

We'll have a blast together, take plenty of photos, and I'll put together a preliminary proofing gallery for you to choose your favorites from.

 

Your remaining balance will be due before the session. Afterward, you can pay for any additional time at the equivalent hourly rate—no overtime fees.

Post-session

Pick your favorites

You'll select your favorite photos from the session, and I'll put the finishing touches on your gallery. You choose how many photos you'd like and pay a final gallery fee to represent the associated editing work.

  • 5 photos for free
  • 10 photos for $60
  • 20 photos for $100
  • 35 photos for $140
  • 50 photos for $180

 

You can add additional photos to a package for $15 each.

Frequently asked questions

Are travel costs included in your packages?

This is very case-dependent! We'll chat during the booking process, but I'll generally charge additional travel fees for locations I can't reach within 60 minutes, at which point I'll usually rent a car by the hour.

How long does it take to receive final photos?

I aim to provide your initial proofing gallery within a week of our session and final edited photos within two weeks of you making your selections and paying the final gallery fee.

Does this pricing apply to events?

No, this pricing information is for portrait sessions only. Think posed fun with your family members or friends. If you're looking for event photography (often more candid), contact me to set up a quote.

Why the separate session and gallery fees?

I found that no package is one-size-fits-all. Many of my clients share that after receiving their proofing gallery, they find they either overestimated or underestimated the number of photos they planned to purchase. I want to help you by saving that commitment until you've actually seen the photos you're going to buy.
